Hi there!
My name is Melissa Beck and I am a IATSE 706 Makeup Artist in the Los Angeles area. I also travel (and work as a local) nearly eberywhere in the United States. Currently my vision board includes more Europe, Mexico and Australian locations!
I have over14 years of experience working in film, television, new media, live events and editorial. I was educated by and assisted many esteemed Makeup Artists and Beauty Experts. There I experienced hands-on training on many fast paced sets and shoots. I am constantly studying up on ingredients in the products I use on my clients, making sure everything is green, organic and will last throughout the day. I take great pride in my studies and i’m actively seeking out more education in the organic/clean beauty world.
With a background in arts, color theory, wedding/event coordinating and being my own boss at 18 years old, I (believe) I am known for being incredibly organized, efficient and having great attention for details/continuity. You can often find me on set making people laugh and raiding the crafty table for fruit snacks & Peanut M&Ms.
